Michael Thurman

Michael Thurman has extensive work experience in the engineering and land services field. Michael served as the President and National Director - Land Services for Atlas Technical Consultants at Long Engineering. In this role, they were responsible for various projects, including civil engineering design for the Mercedes Benz Stadium, construction staking for the stadium, and managing the Atlanta United Training Grounds project. Michael also managed statewide contracts for subsurface utility engineering and survey services for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT). Before their time at Long Engineering, Thurman worked as a Project Manager at WL Jordan and Travis Pruitt & Assoc., where they were involved in managing projects as a Professional Engineer (P.E.). Prior to that, they were a Project Engineer for the Georgia Department of Transportation, focusing on road design. Thurman is currently working as a Career and Leadership Coach at Create Your Career Path.

Michael Thurman attended Georgia Southern University from 1987 to 1992, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
