Joseph Bova serves as the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at LIU Pharmacy while also directing the Department of Continuing Professional Education at Long Island University. Bova has a longstanding role as an adjunct faculty member at Arnold and Marie Schwartz College since January 2009 and has been part of the US Pharmacist's Editorial Advisory Panel since January 2000. Extensive professional activities include membership on the New York Board of Pharmacy since 1995 and ownership of Cary's Pharmacy from 1981 to 2008. Bova has contributed to pharmacy law through various advisory roles and has been an expert witness in significant legal cases regarding pharmacy practice. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Pharmacy-Regulatory Affairs from Arnold & Marie Schwartz College and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Saint John's University.
