Kristin Wilkes

Kristin Wilkes has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Kristin is currently serving as the Vice President, BC at Long View Systems, where they are responsible for championing excellence in customer service and building a strong culture of engagement. Prior to this, they worked at Capilano University as the Chief Information Officer, leading the university's digital transformation and technology governance initiatives. Kristin also held the position of Owner & Chief Strategist at Fairtide Consulting. In addition, Kristin has held various managerial roles in IT services at District of West Vancouver, City of North Vancouver, City of Penticton, SMS Equipment, and Tycrop Manufacturing. Kristin began their career as a Helpdesk Specialist at the Correctional Service of Canada. Throughout their career, Kristin has showcased their expertise in strategic planning, team management, and technology implementation.

Kristin Wilkes holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the University of Victoria, which they obtained from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of the Fraser Valley between 1999 and 2003. In 2010, Kristin also received a certificate in Management Skills for Supervisors from Okanagan College. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained the Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner certification from Prosci in 2020, the COBIT5 Foundation Certificate from ISACA in 2019, and the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2014.
