Jackie Thiel

Jackie Thiel serves as executive vice president of general brokerage operations for Long & Foster Real Estate where she focuses on sales and business growth, recruitment strategies, agent development and strategic mergers and acquisitions. She has more than 20 years of experience in real estate sales and management

Thiel was promoted from senior vice president to her current role in 2021, and previously held the position of vice president and regional manager for Long & Foster Real Estate’s Southwest Virginia, Richmond and Hampton Roads region from 2010 to 2014. Additional leadership positions Thiel has held in her time at Long & Foster include vice president of regional development, vice president of career development and assistant vice president, executive administration. Thiel began her career in real estate with Bowers, Nelms & Fonville in Richmond, Va., which was purchased by Long & Foster in 1998.

Thiel received her Bachelor of Science in education from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio, and studied education psychology at the graduate level at the University of Oregon.
