Edimilson Linares

Edimilson Linares currently serves as the Vice President of R&D at LongPing High-Tech since March 2018. With over 31 years of experience in plant breeding leadership, Edimilson held key positions at Dow AgroSciences from June 1998 to December 2017, including Latin America R&D Leader, where significant achievements included elevating market share in corn seeds from 4% to over 27%. Prior roles included leadership of Brazilian breeding and biotech programs, as well as positions at Dinamilho-Carol Seeds and Pioneer Seeds, where Edimilson contributed to the development of germplasm and commercial hybrids. Edimilson's academic background includes a Master of Science in Plant Genetics and an MBA from FGV, enhancing both technical and managerial competencies in the field.
