Scott Webster has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in cancer diagnostics and laboratory automation. Scott worked as a Senior Director of Tissue Based Research at Sakura Finetek USA, driving the development and launch of reagents and instruments for anatomic pathology workflow. Prior to this, they served as a Scientific Manager at Agilent Technologies/Dako North America, where they managed the development and validation of companion diagnostic assays. Scott also held positions at Carl Zeiss MicroImaging AIS, Clarient Inc., and ChromaVision Medical Systems Inc., where they worked on product development, application validation studies, and assay discovery for medical imaging and analysis platforms. In earlier stages of their career, they conducted scientific research on inflammatory mechanisms and leukocyte biology in Alzheimer's disease as an Assistant Research Faculty at the University of California, Irvine, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Sun Health Research Institute.
