Andrew Sanders

Andrew Sanders is currently an Elementary Social-Emotional Learning Enrichment teacher and G/T campus coordinator at LONGVIEW ISD, beginning in August 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a campus coordinator at Communities in Schools East Texas, where program development and effectiveness evaluation were key responsibilities. As a graduate research and teaching assistant at the University of Texas at Tyler, Andrew contributed to youth sleep study analysis and assisted with undergraduate courses. Additional experience encompasses various roles in program coordination, policy drafting, and youth advocacy, including positions at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and East Texas CASA. Andrew holds a Master of Science in Health Science from the University of Texas at Tyler, a Master of Arts in Community Formation from Asbury Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts in Youth and Teen Studies from LeTourneau University.
