Petroleum Engineer at Lonquist & Co., LLC

Cayden Sessions has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Starting in 2016, they worked as a Lab/Research Technician at PropTester Inc., where they conducted quality control and qualification tests on materials used in hydraulic fracturing. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Frac Engineering Intern at ProPetro Services, Inc., where they gained hands-on experience operating and maintaining equipment for frac operations.

In 2019, Cayden joined Apache Corporation as a Completion Engineering Intern. During this role, they participated in various operations including frac, wireline, coiled tubing drillout, and fiber optic monitoring. Cayden also worked on projects related to offset frac hit prevention and remediation.

In 2020, Cayden joined NexTier Oilfield Solutions as a Frac Field Engineer. Cayden supported fracturing operations, created reports and billing tickets, and provided real-time calculations to customers and office personnel. Cayden also managed frac materials and chemicals.

During the same year, Cayden also worked at US Well Services in two different roles. As a Frac Field Engineer, they provided technical support on-site, optimized well completion procedures, and diagnosed issues in fluid systems. As a Reliability Engineer, they monitored and maintained pump equipment, developed maintenance tracking programs, and prevented equipment damage.

In 2021, Cayden worked as an MWD Field Engineer at Phoenix Technology Services. Cayden built, programmed, and implemented a cutting-edge MWD tool, provided accurate measurements, and troubleshooted issues during drilling. Cayden also developed strong business relationships with clients.

Currently, Cayden is working as a Petroleum Engineer at Lonquist & Co., LLC, starting from November 2021.

Cayden Sessions earned a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, spanning from the years 2015 to 2019.
