Andre Studer

Andre Studer is an experienced professional in the field of analytical development and purification processes, currently serving as the Head of Analytical Development Bioconjugates and the Head of Purification Development Ibex at Lonza since April 2012. In this role, Andre has established purification processes for monoclonal antibodies and is involved in the design and supply of purified material from bioreactors. Andre has also held positions as Team Manager and Senior Team Lead for Microbial, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams and providing analytical support for various processes. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Associate at Imperial College London, focusing on synthetic biology, and a PhD in Bio-Nanotechnology from ETH Zürich. Additionally, Andre holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from ETH Zürich.
