Andrew Lovejoy

Andrew Lovejoy is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as Associate Director of Quality Excellence at Lonza since August 2018, focusing on process development and growth within the Pharma and Biotech network. Prior to Lonza, Andrew held the position of Operational Excellence Champion & Projects Lead at Bio Products Laboratory Limited from January 2016 to August 2018, contributing to the isolation of crucial blood plasma products. Andrew's extensive tenure at GSK spanned over two decades, where roles included Director & Group Leader of Value Engineering & Technical Support in Consumer Healthcare and various leadership positions focused on operational excellence, technical support, and logistics strategy within the Oral Care product line. Andrew began a career in research as a Scientist at BP before pursuing advanced studies in Chemistry, culminating in a PhD from the University of Kent.
