Han Yan

Han Yan is a highly experienced senior scientist specializing in process development and bioassay services, currently employed at Lonza since January 2020. Han Yan's role includes leading assay feasibility, development, optimization, and validation for cell therapy projects, as well as overseeing analytical technology transfer to meet regulatory requirements. Prior to Lonza, Han Yan held various positions at MyBioGate, including Senior Program Manager and Project Manager, focusing on connecting global biotech innovations with Chinese stakeholders. Han Yan also served as Director of Project Management & Business Development at CUBIO Innovation Center and undertook significant research roles at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and OUHSC, emphasizing the effects of insulin-like growth factor in aging. Han Yan holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Sichuan University.
