Hera Kacharakkal

Hera Kacharakkal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Group Leader at Evox Therapeutics Ltd since November 2022. Prior to this role, Hera held various positions at Lonza from January 2010 to November 2022, progressing from R&D Scientist to Associate Principal Scientist in both the Cell Culture Development and MSAT teams. Demonstrated expertise includes leading process characterisation studies, managing technical transfers, and contributing to the efficient execution of Biologics License Application projects. Earlier experience includes a research assistant role at Kerala Agricultural University, focused on the micropropagation of black pepper varieties. Hera holds an M.Sc. in Molecular Medicine from the University of Essex and a B.Tech in Biotechnology from Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology.
