Hughes Lefait is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and continuous improvement across various industries. Currently serving as the Head Of Engineering at Lonza since June 2021, Hughes previously held multiple leadership roles at Catalent Pharma Solutions, including Directeur Engineering and Continuous Improvement & Technology Leader. At Nestlé S.A., responsibilities included support for manufacturing processes in beverage powder production, while managing the successful installation of a new facility. As a Performance Manager at Senoble, Hughes led initiatives to significantly reduce material variance losses. Earlier career contributions include supporting Lean Manufacturing implementation at Wrigley and working as a Chemistry Technician for Tessenderlo Group. Hughes holds a Master's degree in Production from Polytech Lille and an IUT A degree in Chemistry from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology.
