Luka Ilic

Luka Ilic is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, business development, and financial management. Currently serving as the M&A Associate Director at Lonza since November 2024, Luka previously held the position of Senior Global Finance Manager for BD&L and M&A at Sandoz, where responsibilities included leading valuations, managing global BD&L deals, and overseeing due diligence and integration processes. Earlier roles at Novartis encompassed positions as a Finance Manager, Finance Analyst, and Process Improvement Analyst, contributing to numerous capital investments, due diligence projects, and operational improvements. Luka also has experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ljubljana and as part of EY's Transaction Advisory Services team. Educated at the University of St. Gallen with an MBA, Luka also holds additional leadership and financial management qualifications.
