May Roen

May Roen is the current CFO at Lookback. Prior to Lookback, they were the VP Finance at Buoy Labs, Inc from February 2018 to May 2018. IoT SaaS and device platform located in Bay Area, Seed-funded. Acquired by Resideo.

Before that, they were the CFO at Inboard Technology Inc. from September 2017 to February 2018. They are a manufacturer of high-performance lightweight transportation solutions and expanding the e-transportation market and making it fun for people to commute within the city. The ‘world’s first electric skateboard with motors inside the wheels.’ The board boasts a top speed of 24 mph. and comes with in-wheel motors, integrated LED lights, and regenerative braking.

May Roen was also a business controller, contractor at Arimo, Inc. from March 2015 to July 2017.

May Roen has an Executive MBA in finance and management from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), as well as an M.Sc. in landscape architecture from NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences. May is also a landscape architect, having studied at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, and an engineer with a degree in construction and landscapes from the University of Agder (UiA). In addition, they have completed a masterclass in the system transformation masterclass at Stanford University, and a global entrepreneurship training program at Babson College.
