Asier Rekalde

Asier Rekalde has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Asier began their career as an Online Advertising Dissertation at Rockabox, then moved on to become a Chief Activity Leader at Step Travel Bilbao in 2015. In 2014, they worked as a Videographer, Video Editor and Content Manager at Festival de San Sebastián - Donostia Zinemaldia. In 2016, they took on the role of Junior FX TD at Double Negative, as well as Video & Creative Lead at Grupo LAE. From 2018 to 2020, Asier Rekalde worked at Kontraluz as a Post production, Motion Design & VFX artist and at Lookiero as a Video Lead and Post production & Motion Design artist.

Asier Rekalde has a varied educational background. From 2009 to 2013, they completed a degree in Audiovisual Communication at Mondragon Unibertsitatea. From 2011 to 2012, they completed an Erasmus Academic Year at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht). From 2013 to 2014, they completed a degree in 3D, Motion Design, Post Production & VFX at FX Animation Barcelona 3D and Film School. From 2014 to 2015, they completed a degree in Effects with Houdini FX Masters at FX Animation Barcelona 3D and Film School. From 2017 to 2018, they completed a Secondary Teaching Masters at Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio. In 2022, they are currently completing a Sister. Planning + Creativity + Strategy at Brother Ad School.

In addition to their educational background, Asier Rekalde has obtained several certifications. In 2014, they obtained the CAE, Cambridge English Advanced Certificate C1 from Cambridge English Language Assessment. In 2013, they obtained the EGA. Asier also holds a First Aid Certificate and a Lifeguard Certificate from the Red Cross.
