Mufti Ahmad

Mufti Ahmad has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mufti began their career in 2012 as a Sales Associate at Sears Holdings Corporation, where they worked until 2013. Following this, they joined Macy's as a Sales Associate from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, Mufti joined Pacific Sales Kitchen, Bath & Electronics as a Sales Associate and Customer Service Specialist. Mufti then transitioned into the field of information security, starting as an Information Security Intern at TASC Management Corporation in 2014. In this role, they were responsible for mitigating risk, analyzing network traffic, setting up routers and creating VLANs, and providing help desk support. Mufti's commitment to information security continued as they became an Associate Cyber Threat Analyst at LookingGlass Cyber Solutions, Inc. in 2015. Currently, Mufti is serving as an Associate Information Security Analyst at General Dynamics Information Technology since 2016.

Mufti Ahmad's education history begins in 2011 when they attended Northern Virginia Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Information Technology. Mufti then continued their studies at George Mason University from 2014 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Information Technology. Mufti furthered their education at The George Washington University, where they pursued a Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Cybersecurity Policy & Compliance from 2017 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Mufti Ahmad has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field. Mufti became an ICAgile Certified Professional through ICAgile in July 2019, achieved the Certified Ethical Hacker certification from EC-Council in December 2017, and gained the ITIL V3 Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in May 2016. Mufti also holds certifications such as MTA: Security Fundamentals from Microsoft (June 2015), Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) from CompTIA (November 2018), CompTIA Security+ ce from CompTIA (June 2015), and Certified SAFe 5 DevOps Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. (May 2020).
