Vahid Zoghi

Vahid Zoghi has significant work experience in the software engineering field. Vahid is currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Lookout since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Lookout from February 2020 to March 2022.

Before joining Lookout, Vahid worked at Tradeshift as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2017 to January 2020. During their time there, they collaborated with a team to develop a scalable and resilient system for creating, editing, and dispatching business documents in real-time.

From February 2014 to August 2017, Vahid was a Development Team Lead at Stockholm. In this role, they contributed to the creation of a scalable online video analytics platform using AWS cloud and various technologies like MongoDB, Akka actors, and Play framework. Vahid also implemented a fully functional and automated continuous delivery pipeline.

Prior to Stockholm, Vahid co-founded and served as a Technical Lead at Maxa from September 2011 to January 2014. Vahid'sresponsibilities included leading performance tuning and load testing projects for large enterprise transactional solutions. Vahid also developed an end-to-end monitoring solution used by multiple banks.

Vahid's earlier experiences include working as a Member of Software Architecture Lab at the University of Tehran from March 2010 to August 2012, a Member of Software Quality Lab at Fanap Co from January 2010 to June 2011, and a Software Engineer at Amnpardaz from May 2008 to December 2009.

Vahid began their career as a JavaEE Developer at Amirkabir University of Technology from March 2007 to March 2008, where they focused on configuring, running, and supporting enterprise open source portals. Vahid also worked as a JavaEE Developer at ITRC from March 2006 to May 2006 and at ICT Innovation Center at Sharif University of Technology from September 2005 to March 2006, where they developed JSR-168 portlets for enterprise portals.

Vahid Zoghi earned a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from AmirKabir University of Technology, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Cryptography from Coursera in May 2021, Software Security from Coursera Course Certificates in February 2021, and Usable Security from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2020.
