Madison Maxey has eight years of work experience. Madison started as a Fashion Design Intern at Tommy Hilfiger in 2011. In 2014, they became a Technology Research Fellow at the Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator, an Artist in Residence at School of Visual Arts, an Entrepreneur in Residence at General Assemb.ly, and a Thiel Fellow 2013 at The Thiel Foundation. In 2015, they were an Artist in Residence at Autodesk and a 3D Printing Intern at Autodesk. In 2018, they became an E-Textiles A-Team Member at IPC-Association Connecting Electronics Industries. Since 2014, they have been the Founder & CEO of Loomia, and since 2018, they have been the Founder & Chief Innovation Officer of Loomia.

Madison Maxey has a diverse education history. Madison attended The Bishops School from 2007 to 2011, where they completed their general education. From 2011 to present, they have been pursuing a BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design - The New School. In 2015 and 2016, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and earned an Innovation Acceleration Group Program Certificate. Madison is currently attending Stanford University and is expected to graduate in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering.
