Lena Sadowitz currently serves as the Director of Learning Access and Student Achievement and previously held the position of Director of Learning Support at The Loomis Chaffee School since August 2016. Prior experience includes roles as Co-Director and Assistant Director at the Teaching and Learning Center at National Cathedral School from July 2009 to June 2016, where Lena established individualized plans for students with learning disabilities and supported teaching staff in accommodating diverse learners. Additional teaching experience spans various educational institutions, including Evanston/Skokie School District 65 and Chicago Public Schools, focusing on special education and literacy instruction. Lena’s academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Education/Teaching of Individuals with Specific Learning Disabilities and a Master of Education in Elementary Education and Teaching, along with ongoing doctoral studies in Communication Disorders at Northwestern University.
