John Anz has had a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. John is currently serving as the Director of Development and Community Engagement at The Loomis Communities since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, where they held the positions of Interim Executive Director from April 2021 to December 2021 and Development Director from October 2019 to December 2021. From 2018 to 2019, John served as the Director of Development at Berkshire Hills Music Academy. Before that, they worked at the Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA as the Director of Annual Fund & Donor Engagement from 2010 to 2017. John also has experience in alumni relations as the Director of Alumni Relations at The Williston Northampton School from 2002 to 2009. Additionally, they worked as a Property Manager at The Fusco Group from 1994 to 2002 and as the Head Coach of Squash & Tennis at Trinity College - Hartford from 1990 to 1994. John'searly career included an Assistant Coach position at Harvard University from 1987 to 1990.
John Anz attended The Collegiate School from 1970 to 1980, where they received their elementary, middle, and high school education. John then went on to study at Williston Northampton School from 1980 to 1982, acquiring a high school degree. Finally, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy at Trinity College-Hartford from 1982 to 1986.
