Cori Ryan

Cori Ryan has a strong background in software development, UI design, and user experience. Cori is currently working as a Principal UI Developer and Designer at Loomis, Sayles & Company. Prior to that, Cori worked at IBM as a Software Developer and Scrum Lead, where they focused on UI development and UX design for Planning Analytics 2.0 and integrated IBM Carbon into the company's offerings using React. Before IBM, they held positions at Overture Networks as a Senior Frontend Developer, Corero as a Principal Software Engineer and User Experience specialist, and Sonus Networks as a Distinguished Engineer, UI Architect, and User Experience professional. Cori also worked as a UI Developer contractor for Emptoris and IBM, where they contributed to the development of various Cognos products. Earlier in their career, Cori worked as a Web Designer at Coriopsis Designs and as a Senior Software Engineer at IBM, where they served as an architect for web products in the quality engineering space. Cori began their career at Oracle/Concentra/ICAD as a Principle Software Developer and Consultant, leading the development of a web application for aircraft cabin configuration and contributing to the design of integrated web applications.

Cori Ryan has a strong educational background in the field of engineering and user experience. Cori obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering/Thermo-Fluids Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1990. Cori continued their education at the same institution and completed a Master's degree in HCI and User Experience in 1999.

Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from IBM, including Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner, Accessibility Advocate, First Patent File, IBM Agile Achiever, IBM Agile Advocate, IBM Agile Explorer, IBM Volunteers - Bronze, Master Inventor, Patent Issuance, and Plateau.
