Esmeralda Taraj

Esmeralda Taraj has a diverse work experience spanning over the past decade. Esmeralda began their career at Becker College, where they worked as a Peer Tutor and Work-Study employee from 2009 to 2011. Esmeralda then interned at Ascentria Care Alliance, where they assisted with case management and provided support to victims of human trafficking. Esmeralda also worked at Deutsch Williams as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant, handling electronic filings and drafting legal documents for U.S. District Court cases. At State Street, they held various roles including Senior Associate, Officer, and Assistant Vice President, where they managed and supervised teams of employees both in the U.S. and India. Currently, Esmeralda serves as the Vice President and Senior Legal & Compliance Manager at Loomis, Sayles & Company, overseeing compliance reporting, ad hoc requests, and review of annual update documents. Their areas of expertise include legal and compliance management, case management, and team leadership.

Esmeralda Taraj obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Becker College, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they also acquired additional certifications. In July 2018, they became a Lean Practitioner from State Street. Prior to that, in January 2017, they obtained a Notary Public certification from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
