Jason Lan, CFA, FRM has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies in the financial industry. Jason began their career at Putnam Investments in 2004 as a Financial Engineer, where they worked until 2006. Jason then joined MFS Investment Management as a Fixed Income Quantitative Researcher, where they oversaw fixed income risk management, managed yield curve risk, conducted various research tasks, and validated and developed models. After MFS, they worked at OppenheimerFunds as a Risk & Asset Allocation professional from 2009 to 2011. Jason then joined State Street Global Advisors as a Vice President, where they worked until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they held the position of Director of Investment Risk at Pioneer Investments. Currently, they are working at Loomis, Sayles & Company in the role of VP of Quantitative Research and Risk Analysis.

Jason Lan, CFA, FRM holds a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Finance from New York University. Jason also earned a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from Carleton University. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Tongji University, earning a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
