John Bell has a diverse and extensive work experience in the investment and portfolio management industry. John began their career in 1988 at First Capital Holdings, where they served as the Director of Research, VP, and Analyst until 1992. Following this, they joined Dabney/Resnick as the Director of Research, SVP, and Analyst from 1993 to 1994. In 1994, they became the President and Principal at Sextant Investments until 1998. John then moved to Jurika & Voyles, where they worked as a VP-Portfolio Manager from 1998 to 2000. After that, they joined Back Bay Advisors as a VP-Portfolio Manager from 2000 to 2001. Currently, they are employed at Loomis Sayles as a VP-Portfolio Manager since July 2001. Overall, John Bell has gained valuable experience and expertise in portfolio management throughout their career.
John Bell completed their BBA in Management from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, graduating in 1982. Later, they pursued an MBA with a specialization in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. John completed their MBA in 1987.
