Julia Castillo has a diverse range of work experience. Julia began their professional journey in 2019 as a Junior Ranger with the City of Boulder. Julia then worked as a Fast Food Team Member at CHOP5 Salad Kitchen from April 2021 to September 2021. Continuing their hospitality experience, they were a Food Server at Tierra y Fuego Taqueria from June 2022 to September 2022. Julia also gained hostessing experience at Atlantic Fish Co from April 2022. In 2022, they took on the role of Assistant Vice President of Social at Sigma Delta Tau. In 2023, they served as the Social Chair for The Surfrider Foundation. Julia's most recent work experience is as an HR Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Co-Op at Loomis, Sayles & Company, which they started in July 2023.

Julia Castillo obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Northeastern University, where they studied from 2021 to 2025. Prior to their university education, they attended Boulder High School, where they earned their High School Diploma in 2021.
