Matt Novak

Matt Novak, CFA has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Matt started their career as a Performance Attribution Intern at Federated Hermes in 2012. Matt then moved on to State Street, where they worked as a Fund Accountant from 2014 to 2016. After that, they held the role of Senior Performance Analyst at State Street from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they joined UniBit Inc. as a Financial Research Analyst for a brief period of four months. Currently, Matt is working at Loomis, Sayles & Company, where they started as a Macro Research Associate in September 2018 and was later promoted to the role of Macro Research Analyst.

Matt Novak, CFA holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Economics from Boston College. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematical Economics from Gettysburg College. During their undergraduate studies, they participated in a study abroad program called College Year in Athens. Matt completed their secondary education at Upper Saint Clair High School. In addition to their academic achievements, Matt has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute in December 2018.
