Technical Program Manager III - Design Operations at Loon

Alexandra Ramadan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Alexandra began their career as an English/Math Tutor and Student Aide at Reedley College from 2010 to 2013. Afterward, they worked as an Engineering Assistant at New England Sheet Metal and Mechanical Co. from 2013 to 2014. Alexandra then transitioned to the role of Mechanical Designer at Brummel, Myrick & Associates, Inc from 2014 to 2015. Alexandra then took on the position of Mechanical Engineer in Training at Patton Heating and Air Conditioning Company Incorporated for a brief period in 2015. Following that, they joined Phoenix Deventures Inc as a Project Engineer from 2015 to 2017.

In 2017, Alexandra embarked on a new challenge, joining X, the moonshot factory, as a Prototyping/Fabrication Coordinator in Design Kitchen via Adecco. During their time in this role, they managed design, prototyping, and fabrication projects, coordinated communications between project leads and team members, and oversaw both in-house and external vendors for fabrication and prototyping. In 2019, they were promoted to the position of Technical Program Manager II - Geckos at X, where they engineered prototypes and tools for manufacturing late-stage products while continuing their previous responsibilities. Most recently, in May 2022, Alexandra progressed to the role of Technical Program Manager III - Design Operations at X, the moonshot factory.

Alexandra Ramadan is a mechanical engineer with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Alexandra first attended Clovis Community College from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a General Education Transfer degree in Mechanical Engineering. Alexandra then went on to California State University, Fresno, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Alexandra also holds several certifications. In February 2014, they obtained the Engineer-in-Training certification from the Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists. In October 2017, they acquired the Rapid Prototyping for Product Design certification from LinkedIn. More recently, in August 2019, Alexandra obtained both the Open Water Diver certification from PADI and the Scrum: Advanced certification from LinkedIn.
