Michael Kimmey has extensive experience in urban design and advocacy, currently serving as a Senior Associate at Looney Ricks Kiss since June 2013, after holding positions as an Associate and Urban Designer within the same firm. Previous roles include Advocacy/Education Coordinator at the Philadelphia University Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter and Preservation Intern at AEG Presents, where assistance was provided on a renovation project for the Keswick Theatre. Kimmey has contributed to various organizations including the East Falls Historical Society as a Volunteer and the Philadelphia Society for the Preservation of Landmarks as a Visitors Services and Membership Intern. With academic credentials from Philadelphia University and the University of Arkansas Rome Center, Kimmey holds a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Architecture History/Theory.
