Kirk Livingston

Senior Vice President APAC-China at Loop Energy

Kirk Livingston has extensive work experience in the clean energy industry, specifically in the areas of fuel cell technology and emissions reduction.

From 2021 to the present, Kirk served as the General Manager of Loop Energy Technologies (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, where they oversaw the design, construction, and ongoing operations of a fuel cell manufacturing center.

Prior to that, from 2019 to 2021, they held the position of Senior Vice President APAC-China at Loop Energy Inc. In this role, their responsibilities included developing fuel cell stack channel partners, generating commercial hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle demand, and establishing manufacturing operations in China.

Before joining Loop Energy Inc., Kirk was the President of AVATAR CLEAN-TECH INC. from 2017 to 2019. Kirk focused on conducting energy reduction and emissions elimination audits, implementing clean-tech solutions, and integrating carbon capture and trading mechanisms.

From 2014 to 2016, Kirk worked at Hoerbiger (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. as the APAC Head of OEM & Energy. During this time, they also served as Interim General Manager, responsible for operations and managing the P&L.

Prior to that, Kirk held various leadership positions at IMW Clean Energy Solutions (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., IMW Compressors (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Clean Energy Compressors Corp Dba IMW Industries, and IMW Industries Ltd. These roles involved responsibilities such as CEO and Senior Vice President of International Business Development, where they oversaw manufacturing facilities, established sourcing and operations teams, and managed various business functions.
