Fahim Salam

Fahim Salam has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Fahim is currently the CEO of Nuport since September 2021. Prior to that, they co-founded Loop Freight in 2019 and served as both a Co-Founder and Chief of Product until August 2021. Fahim was also an Alumni at Accelerating Asia from June 2019 to September 2019. Fahim worked as a Technology Consultant at IBM from April 2018 to March 2019. Before that, they were involved in business development at VersaPay in 2017 and Aurora Biomed in 2016. Fahim held advisory and leadership positions at The Oil&Gas Initiative from 2013 to 2016. Fahim also gained experience as a Business Analyst and Product Development Lead at Pretzel from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, Fahim worked as a Quality Control and Material Testing Technician and a Process Operator at Merlin Plastics Supply Inc. in 2015. Fahim started their career as an Engineering Intern at HEXA Oil & Gas Services LLC in 2013.

Fahim Salam's education history includes a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Chemical and Biological Engineering from The University of British Columbia. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications such as IBM Agile Explorer, IBM Blockchain Essentials, and Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM. Fahim also holds an Engineer In Training certification from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. Furthermore, Fahim has acquired a Forklift Operation Certificate from Fivestar Training and a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification from Remedy Energy Services Inc.
