Justis K. has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Justis most recently worked at Loop Media, Inc., where they held multiple roles including Chief Content Officer and Chief of Staff. Prior to that, they worked at THE AIM FOUNDATION as the Founder and CEO. Justis also has experience in the entertainment industry, serving as a Senior Director and Creative Director at FarWest Entertainment. Additionally, they worked as the Director of Operations at Michael Brager Photography and as a Background Vocalist on The X Factor USA. Justis began their career as a Music Director at Evergreen Baptist Church Of Los Angeles, where they coordinated worship teams and arranged music for various events.

Justis K. attended Berklee College of Music from 2000 to 2003, earning a Bachelor's degree in Contemporary Writing & Production.
