Heidi Yang

Head of Product Design at Loop

Heidi Yang is the current Head of Product Design at Loop. Prior to this, they were the Product Design Lead - Load Logistics at Uber Freight from June 2018 to June 2021. Heidi was responsible for building the logistics management platform to ensure that freight is moved around the world seamlessly and efficiently. From March 2016 to June 2018, Heidi was a Product Designer at Intuit, where they designed mobile and web tools for self-employed workers and small business owners to manage their finances. From October 2015 to December 2015, they were a Teaching Assistant - User Research Methods at Carnegie Mellon University - Integrated Innovation Institute, where they created guidelines on best practices for sensor design in IoT devices, focusing on privacy implications five to ten years from now (www.signifiers.io). In January 2015 to August 2015, Heidi was the Design Lead for Master's Capstone at Google. From June 2014 to August 2014, they were a Product/User Experience Design Intern at Groupon. From October 2013 to August 2014, they were the Lead Creative at Tailored Fit. From May 2013 to August 2013, Heidi was a User Experience Design Intern at Workday.

Heidi Yang pursued a Master's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business. Heidi began their educational career by completing a bachelors degree at Lakota East High School.

Heidi Yang reports to Matt McKinney, Co-Founder & CEO. Some of their coworkers include Shaosu Liu - Co-Founder & CTO, Javier Vigil - Head of Sales, and Lauren Oliver - Head of Customer Success.
