John Courtney

John Courtney has over 20 years of experience in the finance and accounting industry. John began their career in 2001 as the Director of Finance at Land Tech, Inc. where they provided hands-on leadership on accurate and compliant execution of all finance and accounting functions. In 2006, they moved to MG/THLO as the Director of Finance and was responsible for designing a 6-month turnaround plan with a 1-year implementation timeframe. From 2010 to 2015, they worked at Fjord LLC, A Tegra Global Company as Finance, where they were a member of the executive management team and supported the CEO with driving changes in financial and accounting controls, management team performance, operational efficiencies, and information systems. John then moved to WVA in 2015 as the Director of Finance and Operations. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Looptworks as the Director of Finance, where they are in a key leadership role in financial management, business planning, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. John is also leveraging their experience in driving improvements within organizational growth, partnership services, and key employee retainment.

John Courtney attended Warner Pacific University from 1992 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
