João Cerdeira

João Cerdeira is the CTO at LOQR. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Agile Coaches at Farfetch from November 2014 to September 2018. João was responsible for transforming the Scrum Master role into an Agile Coach role with a focus on the tech department. Under their leadership, the team grew from 3 to 17 coaches located in Porto, Lisbon, and Shangai. João also helped the tech department grow from 70 to 800 employees in 4 years.

Cerdeira is a co-author of the cluster organisation design and a contributor to the roadmap process, adding estimation and slicing techniques to initiatives. João also has experience with Lean Portfolio Management for product delivery.

João Cerdeira's educational career includes a certification from the Software Engineering Institute in Introdution to CMMI v1.3, a certification from PMO in PMP, a certification from the Scrum Alliance in Certified Scrum Master, and a certification from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto in IT Enterprise Aplication. João also holds a degree from Universidade do Minho in Information Technology.
