Byron Bemiller

Byron BeMiller is an experienced professional in the field of IoT and connectivity, currently serving as the Director of IoT Cloud and Connectivity for the Americas at Semtech since August 2018, where responsibilities include leading go-to-market initiatives and partner development for various IoT services, including the Sierra Wireless global MVNO service. Prior roles at Semtech involved driving the growth of LoRa networks and managing marketing for smart building solutions. Byron also serves as a LoRaWAN Ambassador and heads the Smart Buildings Workgroup at the LoRa Alliance and has held board positions at industry organizations such as the Continental Automated Buildings Association. Earlier in the career, Byron held significant sales and leadership roles at TrackNet Inc., Cortina Systems, Ciena, and Nortel Networks, consistently focusing on business development and market expansion, supported by academic credentials in management and electrical engineering from Georgia Tech and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
