Christian Wiens

Christian Wiens is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology leader, currently serving as the CEO and Founder of Getsafe since 2015. Under Wiens' leadership, Getsafe has developed a unique technological platform that simplifies and enhances the insurance experience, achieving significant recognition as one of Europe's top insurtechs and serving over 500,000 customers across Austria, the UK, France, and Germany since its launch in 2018. Additionally, Wiens holds the position of Chairman of the Board at LORA and co-founded Gourmeo, where Wiens served as CEO from May 2011 to May 2014. Christian Wiens earned a Master of Science in Mechanical and Process Engineering as well as a Diploma in Business Administration and Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt. Wiens also studied at Politecnico di Torino.
