Sylvia Rios

Sylvia Rios, MPA, currently serves as Project Manager for Talent & Business Innovation at Lorain County Community College since November 2019, overseeing multiple Department of Labor grant programs and managing communications and data compliance. Previously, Sylvia held positions at Oberlin College as Assistant Director of the Career Development Center, where responsibilities included creating career services for students, and at Cuyahoga Community College as Program Manager for the 10,000 Small Businesses initiative, managing logistics and recruitment for small business education. Earlier experience includes roles at Mature Services focusing on employment centers and at City Year as National Outreach Coordinator. Sylvia earned a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Baldwin Wallace University.
