Jason Smith

Jason Smith has extensive experience in both emergency services and music education. Currently serving as an Emergency Dispatcher for Lorain County Ohio Government since June 2020, Jason previously worked as a Sales and Service Specialist at Rettig Music from August 2016 to June 2020. Prior roles include Band Director at Northwest Local Schools and Content Specialist at Jackson Local School District. Jason's academic background includes Master's Degrees in Music Teacher Education and Tuba Performance from The University of Akron, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Music Teacher Education from the State University of New York College at Potsdam.
