Sarah V. Ali

Sarah Ali is responsible for providing broad management and strategic oversight of the firm’s investment, research, and trading teams. In addition, she serves on the Executive Committee, which is responsible for the firm’s leadership, strategic direction, and risk management. She also serves on the firm’s Investment Committee.

Ms. Ali joined Lord Abbett in 2019. Prior to her current role, she served as Research Analyst for Lord Abbett’s Municipal Bond Research team, which supports all the tax-free fixed-income capabilities. Her previous experience includes serving as Vice President – Municipal Credit Analyst (Healthcare) at PIMCO; Director, Municipal Credit Analyst at Metlife Investments; and various roles at Moody’s Investors Service. She has worked in the financial services industry since 2005.

She earned a BA in political science from the University of Notre Dame and an MPA from New York University.
