Tudor Stoenescu

Tudor Stoenescu is a seasoned professional in investment risk management and quantitative strategy, currently serving as Senior Investment Risk Manager at Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC since June 2014. In this role, Tudor Stoenescu has been pivotal in redesigning the risk infrastructure and collaborating with portfolio managers on risk assessment. Previously, Tudor Stoenescu worked at Goldman Sachs as VP Fixed Income Quantitative Strategist, where significant contributions were made in developing a corporate credit trading platform. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Tudor Stoenescu held various positions at American Express, including Senior Manager of Risk and Information Management, and began a career as a Research Scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Academic achievements include a Master’s in Financial Engineering from Stanford University, a Postdoc in Economics from Caltech, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
