Masoome Haghani

Masoome (MaHa) Haghani is a Building Scientist at Lord Aeck Sargent since May 2023, with extensive experience in sustainability and energy analysis. At North Carolina State University, Haghani has held positions as a Research Assistant and Research and Teaching Assistant, focusing on an innovative daylighting system, Prismatic Vertical Louvers (PVL), and conducting performance evaluations of daylighting technologies. Previous roles include Sustainability Intern at The Beck Group and Thornton Tomasetti, where Haghani undertook energy and daylight analysis, LEED documentation, and environmental studies. Earlier experience as a Researcher and Energy Analyst at BHRC-Road involved sustainable design alternatives for rural housing and energy efficiency guidelines. Haghani holds a PhD in Design from North Carolina State University and a Master's in Energy & Architecture from Iran's University of Art.
