Krzysztof Szymczyk

Krzysztof Szymczyk acts as Sales & Business Development Director for Lorien’s operations in Poland and Central Europe. He is a qualified industrial automation engineer with later post graduate education in marketing and business administration.

Krzysztof has 25 years of experience of working within international companies with operations based in Poland, responsible for sales and general business direction. In addition to project operations in Poland, other territories covered include Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Ukraine, White Russia and the Baltic States. He has worked with client organisations that have headquarters in Europe, North America and Asia, and so understands and respects the ethics of different business cultures and environments.

Throughout his career he has been responsible for sales either of industrial equipment or complex EPC projects mainly in food, chemical and water industries. Delivered projects have typically involved facility expansion, industrial automation solutions, environment protection technologies, thermal energy generation installations, and product processing systems.

Krzysztof is a nominated external technical expert of the Ministry of Environment Protection, representing Poland as Associated Member of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission in Seville, Spain. He has contributed to the ongoing revision of Industrial Emissions Directive regarding emissions limits and BAT technologies for organic solvents applications.
