John W. Stevens has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries and roles. John W. started their career as a General Manager at Stone Container Corp, where they successfully managed a Pulp & Paper mill and achieved record-breaking production results. John W. then joined Neill and Gunter (Now Stantec) as a Manager of Business Development, overseeing engineering projects in the Pulp & Paper and other industrial sectors. During their tenure, they played a significant role in training personnel and expanding the company's natural gas business. Following this, they joined NB Power as an Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for the operation, maintenance, and improvement projects of a thermal electrical generating station. John W.'sleadership and collaboration with the engineering group and corporate management were crucial in achieving project success. Since 2011, they have been working at Lorneville Mechanical Contractors, initially as a Project Manager overseeing the refurbishment of a Nuclear Power facility. John W. later took on the role of VP - New Construction, providing corporate leadership in construction project development. Subsequently, they became a Senior Project Manager and eventually assumed the role of VP-Commercial Operations, where they offer senior on-site leadership and guidance for the Commercial Division. Throughout their career, John W. Stevens has demonstrated expertise in project management, business strategy, risk management, staff development, client relationship-building, and contract administration.

John W. Stevens completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering at UNB from 1982 to 1985. In 2004, they obtained a Certificate in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Queens School of Business. John W. further pursued their education and earned an MBA in Business from Saint Mary's University, attending from 2006 to 2008.
