John Guo

John Guo is an experienced scientist specializing in radiation detection and spectroscopy. Currently serving as an NDA Scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory since November 2022, John has a robust background in various scientific roles. Previous positions include Physicist at ORTEC-Ametek, where expertise in gamma spectrometry was developed from May 1999 to November 2022, and as a Software Engineer at Oxford Instruments, focusing on application software for radiation detection between January 1997 and April 1999. Additionally, John held positions such as Sr. Scientist at Atom Sciences and Research Scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where work involved laser resonance ionization spectrometry and mass spectrometry instrumentation, respectively.
