Syed Shah

Syed Shah, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Los Alamos National Laboratory since November 2022, focusing on theoretical and computational studies of materials for lasers, spin-qubits, and photonic devices utilizing analytical, computational, and machine learning techniques. Previously, Syed held a postdoctoral position at the University of Houston from August 2014 to January 2023, where research involved developing machine learning methods for analyzing 2D coherent spectral signals linked to non-stationary spectral diffusion. Syed completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry at the University of Houston in August 2020 and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Computer Sciences at Lahore University of Management Sciences in December 2013. Additionally, Syed served as a Research & Development Instructor at Lahore University of Management Sciences, where key experiments for the Optics Lab were developed, and various optical setups were designed.
