Armando S. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 16 years. Armando began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Puerto Rico, where they gained valuable research experience studying drone behavior. Armando then worked as a Personal Trainer at Fitness Gallery, focusing on helping clients achieve their fitness goals.

Armando's career in the healthcare industry started at Columbia University Department of Psychiatry and New York State Psychiatric Institute, where they worked as an Interpreter. Armando then transitioned into clinical research roles at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, first as a Research Study Assistant and then as a Clinical Research Coordinator, specializing in advanced/metastatic sarcoma and melanoma. At UCLA Health, they served as a Lead Clinical Research Coordinator, overseeing the coordination of phase I and GI clinical research trials.

Armando's expertise in clinical research continued at ONCOtherapeutics, where they held leadership positions as Sr. Director, Clinical Research Operations and VP of Clinical Research Operations and Business Development. In these roles, they contributed to the development and coordination of multiple clinical trials.

From 2021 to 2023, Armando worked as a New Business Development and Clinical Research Consultant, providing consulting services for clients in the CRO industry. Armando'sfocus was on expanding the accessibility of funds and availability of clinical research studies in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

Most recently, Armando served as the Director of Research at the Los Angeles Cancer Network, where they led and directed research initiatives.

Armando S. has a diverse education history spanning different institutions and fields of study. Armando obtained a Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico - Metropolitan Campus in 2011. During their time at the university, they also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Health Risk Management. In addition, they earned a Professional Certificate in Risk Management in Health Care from the same institution in 2011. Before their university education, Armando obtained their High School Diploma from Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola from 2000 to 2006.

Aside from their formal education, Armando S. has obtained additional certifications in the field of clinical research. In 2017, they became a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) through SOCRA, and in 2018, they achieved the ACRP-CP certification from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
