Amanda Wong is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Deputy City Attorney in the Public Safety General Counsel and Gang & Gun Prosecution Section at the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office since January 2015. Prior to this role, Amanda worked as a Deputy City Prosecutor at the Redondo Beach City Attorney's Office from May 2012 to January 2015 and at the Hermosa Beach City Prosecutor's Office from November 2010 to June 2013. Amanda began a legal career as a Litigation Associate at Kirkland & Ellis, progressing to Partner and Of Counsel from October 2000 to April 2010. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from UCLA and is pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law.
