Divya Jakatdar has a diverse range of work experience. Most notably, they served as the President of the USC Undergraduate Student Government, representing the entire undergraduate student body and managing a budget of over $2 million. Divya also held the role of Senator, where they voted on issues and served on the Affordability and Basic Needs Committee, working on projects such as providing operational resources to a free housing organization and making halal/kosher food more accessible. Divya has also worked as a Consultant at Los Angeles Community Impact, providing consulting services for social impact organizations in the greater Los Angeles area. Divya acted as a Misdemeanor Unit Intern at the San Francisco District Attorney's Office, drafting motions and reviewing evidence for upcoming trials. Additionally, they have held internships at the Office of LA County Supervisor Holly Mitchell, the Philanthropy Workshop, and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti's Office of Legislative & External Affairs, where they engaged with constituents, coordinated vaccination campaigns, and provided resources throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to their professional internships, Divya worked as a Private Tutor at Tutorfly Inc. and as a Restaurant Cashier at Spot A Pizza Place. Currently, they are an Intern at Genies.

Divya Jakatdar completed their education with a High School Diploma from Los Altos High School, from the year 2016 to 2020. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Southern California where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Political Science, a minor in Artificial Intelligence, and a specialization in Applied Analytics. Divya is expected to complete their undergraduate studies from University of Southern California in the year 2024.
