Belinda Waltman

Director, Care Delivery Transformation Within Population Health at Los Angeles County Department of Health Services

Belinda Waltman, MD has a diverse work experience in the medical field. From 2017 to the present, they have been working at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services. In their roles at the department, they have served as the Director of Care Delivery Transformation within Population Health, Director of Analytics Integration and Medical Director of Enhanced Care Management, and Director of Whole Person Care - Los Angeles. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2017, they were the Quality Improvement Program Founder and Director, Strategic Planning, Attending Physician at the San Francisco Free Clinic. In addition, they have served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at both Yale University School of Medicine and the University of California, San Francisco. Overall, Dr. Waltman brings a wealth of experience and expertise in various healthcare settings.

Belinda Waltman, MD attended Brown University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Human Biology. Belinda then pursued further education at the University of Adelaide from 2003 to 2004 as a Fulbright Scholar. Finally, they attended Harvard Medical School from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
